I love making hats!
This is my wide striped with zigs pattern made 2024 from chunky 100% wool from Wool and the Gang and Cascade yarns. A fun and juicy color combo to stand out on those cold winter days.
This hat is knit in stockinette stitch which naturally allows the rim to roll so you can tug it down or roll it more. The color changes are done in fairisle or stranded knitting so the extra yarn is carried on the inside. This adds extra plushy warmth.
This fits both me and my sis so I translate that to an Adult Women's M/L for sizing.
*You'd think hats would be straightforward for sizing but if you have any questions please ask! But I may need you to measure around your head which is a weird way to start out a convo w a stranger. So just a head's up ;)
