Vintage Elizabethan Teacup and Saucer Set, Fine Bone China Made in England.

This bold and dramatic hand decorated set features a gold chintz design on a dark red background. The foot and the handle are heavily 2024 gold gilded. There is a band of gold flowers all around the interior of the broad mouthed rim.
It was purchased at Birks.
Stunning display set that would make a great addition to any collection or vintage tea party.

2 3/8'' tall
4 1/8'' diameter rim
5 5/8'' diameter saucer
Excellent condition with no chips, crack or crazing and no wear on the colour or gold decor.
