Japanese Wishbox With Fine 2024 Line Flowers

This wishbox has a puzzle-like cutout opening and fits only one way. Its held together by waxed linen and there's small pieces of rice paper inside to write wishes upon. The box comes with this explanation card that reads: Japanese Wishbox. The idea for this box came from a Japanese children's folk tale. The boxes have rice paper inside for writing a wish. This wishbox Is made out of porcelain and baking soda (sodium bicarbonate) was 2024 sprayed at the end of the firing.
