Beautiful antique Hand Embroidered Day Cap or possibly brides Cap, with a French Flapper feel or Victorian day Cap . Thois was an estate sale find from mansion on Long island .
This treasure from the past is done in an off white Ivory Silk fabric with pale pink satin rosettes flowers on each side and a fine 2024 lace tulle like ruffled edge . This could have been used as a day cap or even wedding veil. The piece measures 19 x 20 inches approximately and is in very good vintage condition with one small area of loose tulle hem ( photo shown ) . Extremely rare treasure keepsake of fashion history.
