Handmade Japanese style squared ceramic pottery bowl. Made with a unique blend of porcelain stoneware clay, glazed with the traditional Japanese Temoku glaze, and decorated with Japanese style slip trailing from a custom-made teal glaze with gold accents.

I was traditionally trained through apprenticeship methods with master potters in Japan and the U.S. Technique proficiency was stressed, as well as valuing one's true nature over the ego to create pottery that is heartfelt and feels good to the user.
Each piece is individually handmade with the use of a foot powered treadle wheel. Porcelain and/or stoneware clay is used and fired to 2250-2400 degrees Fahrenheit, making the wares very durable. Safe for the oven, dishwasher, and microwave. Lead free and safe for daily use.
