This vintage micro mosaic lute brooch is an exquisite example of Italian Micro Mosaic. This beautiful musical instrument is set in goldtone metal. It is a lute or mandolin with tiny tessarae glass tiles intricately placed to form the beautiful designs on the body and neck of the lute.

This brooch is signed "Made in Italy" on the back and is just beautiful! Red, pink, blue, white, green and yellow tiles are used, and the central design is a tiny 2024 daisy. This brooch measures 1-3/4 x 3/4" This is a perfect addition to your vintage collection!
