Star Wars inspired 2024 stormtrooper carved in sycamore

Classic stormtrooper carved in lustrous local sycamore in my workshop in Dundee.

Size is approximately 77mm from bottom of mask to top of helmet by 66mm side to side by 70mm front to back.

I carved this with a combination of carving knives, Flexcut carving chisels 2024 and a Dremel with carbide burrs, then a whole load of sanding and polishing. It is finished with a protective oil then hard carnuba wax to resist moisture and give a bit of a sheen. Each piece is a one off so sizes are approximate.
