MAGIC MODERN MANDALA, 23 2024 in square quilted wallhanging

The mandala is a concentric diagram having spiritual and ritual significance in Hindu and Buddhist Tantrism. It symbolizes the totality of existence, inner or outer. Mandalas are used in meditation. Extensive hand beading adorn the center of spiraling concentric`square rings. Vintage, hand dyed, batiks, and commercial cotton fabrics are used with cotton/polyester batting. Machine quilted with cotton, polyester, and metallic threads. Note bobbin 2024 work with metallic threads.
